Skills, experience and expertise: Steve has significant finance industry experience, having worked for the Reserve Bank of Australia for 14 years and at CPS Credit Union (SA) Ltd for 5 years. More recently, Steve has in excess of 10 years senior management experience with a national human resources organisation (leading the SA and WA operations) where he has forged many strong business relationships within commercial and government sectors.
His areas of expertise include: financial management, change management, strategic planning, corporate governance, marketing, business development and human resources. Steve’s tertiary qualifications include a Graduate Certificate of Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) attained through the University of South Australia. He has also completed a BICIS accreditation – studies through the Business in China Intensive School, Shanghai, China.
Membership of Community CPS Australia Limited Board Committees and Committees Established by the Board: To be determined Other interests: Steve has a strong interest in sport, travel and the performing arts. He is a keen runner who completed the New York marathon in 2009. Steve is an active and passionate supporter of many charities - in particular, the McGuinness McDermott Foundation. He is married to Donna and has three children. |
