We are 100% Australian owned by our members so we're not answerable to financial shareholders. Our surplus funds are returned to our members in the form of better services and member advantages. These include no account keeping fees, lower transaction fees and Australia-wide ATM access.

In 2008 Money Magazine awarded us ‘Credit Union of the Year’ and in 2009 we were awarded ‘Credit Card Issuer of the Year’.

Community CPS was formed in 2006 as a result of a merger between CPS Credit Union (SA) and CPS Credit Union Co-operative (ACT).  In November 2008, Community CPS merged with United Credit Union in WA and now carries on business in WA as United Community. In January 2010, Community CPS merged with Companion Credit Union in NSW and now carries on business in NSW as Companion Credit Union. By joining forces we are able to meet the challenges of the future from a position of strength.
